From Plymouth to Penzance and Cowes, Morgenster’s UK Day Trip Tour Continues
Tall Ship Morgenster is enjoying the south coast of the UK, and the first stop of our day trip tour has already been a success. After welcoming guests aboard in Plymouth, we are now preparing to continue westward to Penzance, followed later this month by newly added sailings from Cowes.
Successful Day Trips from Plymouth
Our Plymouth day trips gave guests the opportunity to leave the harbor behind and experience traditional sailing from the deck of a real square-rigged tall ship. Once at sea, the coastline takes on a completely different character: open water, changing skies and the unmistakable feeling of traveling under sail.
The enthusiastic response in Plymouth has encouraged us to extend our UK day trip program.
Next Stop: Penzance
Next week, Morgenster will visit Penzance, where several three-hour day trips are planned from the harbor. These shorter sailing experiences are ideal for anyone who wants to discover Morgenster without joining one of our longer voyages.
No previous sailing experience is required. Simply step aboard, enjoy the sea and discover the atmosphere of traditional sailing.

Extra Day Trips Added in Cowes
Because of the success of our UK day trips, we have added another destination to the program. From September 17 through September 20, Morgenster will offer afternoon day trips from Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
With its long maritime history and spectacular surroundings, Cowes is a natural place to experience a traditional tall ship. The waters around the Isle of Wight, including its famous white cliffs and Needles, provide a fitting backdrop for the final part of our UK sailing tour.
After Cowes, Morgenster will set course across the North Sea and return to her home port of Den Helder in the Netherlands.
